TinkerBell Birthday Cake

Which One Will You Pick?

If your looking for ideas for a Tinkerbell Birthday Cake, you will find that the sky is the limit when it comes to imagination.  This is definitely one of my favorite parts of planning for a birthday party because there are so many beautiful and creative cake ideas.  But decide you must, and to help speed up the process I suggest the following.

Include the birthday child’s input as to what they would like.   Some kids will have very little interest if any in cake decisions but for those that do I find the best way to start deciding is by asking your child some (or all) of these questions:

  1. Do you want Tinkerbell alone?
  2. Do you want her flying or sitting?
  3. Do you want Tinkerbell and all the fairies?
  4. Do you want a cake or cupcakes?
  5. Do you want figurines or picture or shaped mold?
  6. Do you want a Tinkerbell doll cake?
  7. 1,2 or 3 tier Tinkerbell cake?
  8. Should the setting be Neverland, Pixie Hollow ( where fairies live in Neverland), Tink’s house?
  9. What color should the cake be, green, purple, pink, gold, white, yellow?
  10. Should we buy the cake or make it at home? (this might be more your decision than theirs).

One easy way to find out what kind of Tinkerbell birthday cake they would like is to ask them to draw and color the kind of cake they would want.  You would be surprised at what they come up with.  Added bonus:  Knowing that they participated gives them an extra boost of confidence and pride.

Tip: Add small toys as cake toppers for extra dimension or small moving toys for an animated birthday cake.

Armed with at least some of this information you can now narrow it down.  Below are pictures of some Tinkerbell Birthday Cake ideas.  Show them to your child and together I’m sure you will decide on a beautiful cake.
